Why blog?

The good people at the Brainstrust charity and myself have put together an article on blogging.

It includes the specific reasons why I started the blog and continue to write, as well as general points on how it can be useful for those with serious illnesses (or their carers) to maintain a blog.

  1. And long may it continue Jill, I love it x

  2. I love how all of this started because your boyfriend wanted to keep in touch and keep people informed on his illness. I created a blog for my college composition class, and I decided to write about my mothers struggles with melanoma, and it surprisingly has been very easing and calming to be open and write about it. I enjoy reading others blogs about their struggles, thank you for sharing all of this with us. I really do believe sharing and being open about these struggles helps everyone get through it just a little bit easier.
